The ART HOUSE Basel, part of the Design Hotels collection, opened its doors in May 2020 and has already inspired all visitors to date. Its modern architecture, with a carefully selected interior design, creates a perfect, centrally located space for all needs.
In the room, the perfect atmosphere to unwind and dive into the amazingly inviting bed’s pillows and blankets. A night of sleep as comfortable as our dreams call. In the rooftop, Mirador, an exclusive and private bar for hotel guests and members only. Uniquely designed drinks and special snacks in an elegant, modern and comfortable ambience, with a view to the city.
Downstairs, the restaurant Souvenir offers its delicious cuisine. For all tastes, from snacks to full meals and mouthwatering desserts. Along with their motto “soul food to remember”. Famous for its bar outside, facing the most outgoing street in Basel, also serving signature drinks, as well as the favourite classics.
The restaurant is also where, as a hotel guest, you will have the chance to delight yourself in the complete breakfast served by the friendly staff. You won’t regret it.
A coffee, a cappuccino or a chai latte, regular or vegan, is also available at any time of the day.
The promise of all three? An inviting, friendly and personal service, where each individual is treated as what we are - unique. Everyone is welcome, with no prejudice nor disdain.

Personally, I see every activity as an art, the art of cooking, of barkeeping, or service, of managing, but not only that, at ART HOUSE, you will be faced with art in the corridors, in the restaurant, at the bar, in your room. Unique art pieces specially curated for each environment to perfectly fit and transcend the desired emotion to the visitors.
